ok thought id better post a little recording info. Guitar used was my mike stern signature yamaha. Two guitars play the lead line, harmonising in thirds, minor thirds, fourths and fifths. Chords are Emadd9, Csus#4, Amadd9 and Gadd9 for the first and final section and Bm#5, Bb6, Am7 and D7 for the middle section.

Niiice, what effects did you use on the lead guitar? What pedal do you use to get it?

Well the distortion is from a DoDfx7 multi fx pedal DI into the comp, the other effects come from my recording software, guitar tracks 2 by cakewalk, and its flange and delay i think on both lead harmony parts.

Woah, you damn sure know your theory! I didn't enjoy this as much as the 'funkriff' tune you posted, but it was still good, just not so my kind of thing

reminds me of satriani. similar to hill of the skull. nice, lengthen it out or put a few of these shorter songs u have together into a giant, crazy song of awesomeness.
